DESCRIPTION:
More than 250 clients in 38 countries rely on QL2 to drive business decisions on product and price mix, competitive positioning, and consumer opinions and preferences. We are looking for a highly talented and experienced product manager to help QL2 continue to productize its technology and bring it to a rapidly expanding market. The person in this role will be responsible for planning, organizing and producing the product line from conceptual stages through product end of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evangelize QL2 products, services, and technology to customers, partners, media and industry analysts.
Educate QL2 sales staff, marketing staff, and solutions engineers about QL2 product capabilities.
Capture product requirements and opportunities from QL2 customers, prospects, and partners.
Analyze and evaluate competitive solutions to determine optimal sales strategy and product improvement plans.
Define QL2 products by preparing MRD, PRD, and specs.
Create go-to-market plans, business plans, and market analysis.
Organize and prepare copy for product and technology sections of QL2 web site and various types of marketing collateral.
Attend trade shows, speak at seminars, be interviewed by reporters.
Tag along on Sales calls to learn about what problems customers are trying to solve and about how they use our products.
Learn about QL2 technology so you can find new problems to solve with it.
Identify and strategize new opportunities, lines of business, vertical markets, channels, and applications for QL2 technology.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years demonstrable product management experience.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working with wide range of external and internal stakeholders.
Familiarity with basic desktop productivity applications.
Familiarity with enterprise software technologies and similar services.
Ability to learn new technology processes and terminology.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Effective time management, organizational and analytical skills.
B.A. / B.S. from a 4-year institution.
