TITLE: Senior Systems Administrator / Systems Engineer – IT

We have an opening for an experienced and versatile engineer to join our three-person IT / Operations department. You will be the sysadmin, the network admin, and you will also participate in other engineering activity.
You must be able to support all aspects of a heavily computer-oriented business, ranging from desktops to servers to firewalls and routers.
QL2 is headquartered in Seattle with additional engineering operations in Atlanta, India, and UK. QL2 infrastructure includes co-located equipment at 11 data centers worldwide. QL2 currently has 140 employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operation and maintenance of networks, servers, telephony, and security equipment
- Administration of critical line-of-business applications and other web services
- Database administration
- Installation of equipment and physical wiring
- End-user support
- Plan and implement new services and infrastructure
- Operate partner technology products for proofs-of-concept, integration support, sales support
- Documentation and control of system configuration
- Disaster recovery planning
- Security audit administration
- Planning and purchasing equipment

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years experience performing similar responsibilities
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
