TITLE: Senior Technical Recruiter

DESCRIPTION:

The person in this role will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, checking references, making offers, and conducting orientation for new employees. Additional responsibilities include performing exit interviews, processing employee changes, and determining the optimum recruitment method to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
- Maintain current knowledge of EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), etc.
- Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, and employee referrals
- Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills.
- Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration and selection.
- Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities at QL2.
- Screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
- Arrange for interviews.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
- Request information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references to determine applicants' employment acceptability.
- Assist with planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
- Help prepare and maintain employment records.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have 2 to 5 years experience in recruiting, particularly for technical and sales roles.
- B.A. from a 4-year institution; HR Management a plus.
- Must be familiar with basic desktop productivity applications.
- Must demonstrate analytical and project management skills.
- Should be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Requires individual initiative, as well as decision-making and time management skills.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and well organized.
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Must be people-oriented and enjoy providing top quality customer service.
PREFERRED:
- PHR Certification.
