DESCRIPTION:

Do you excel in pattern recognition tests? Do you enjoy the "find the hidden object" puzzles? Are you able to logically and systematically work your way through a complicated task? As a QL2 tester, you will be using QL2 proprietary software query tools to generate reports that must be reviewed for clarity, data correctness, and appropriateness. Working hand in hand with the development staff, you will be responsible for defining acceptance criteria, identifying problems, and reporting deviations. Your job is to act as the customers advocate so that our customers receive the highest quality product possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifying and documenting valid data set descriptions based on web site investigations.
Reviewing CSV or excel based reports for data correctness and pattern uniformity.
Assisting in regularly scheduled test cycles for QL2 software products:

Applicability of the requested data searches.
GUI functionality and compatibility in multi-browser environments.
OS compatibility problems.

Be the first customer for QL2 products, creatively catching the problems so that our paying customers have a positive experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years experience within software testing or development environments.
1+ years education in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
US Citizenship (See NOTE: under HOW TO APPLY: below)

PREFERRED:

Experience with scripting languages.
Ability to work with the standard MS office work environment.
