QL2 Software Joins Microsoft's BioIT Alliance

Data Collection Expertise Plays Role
in Medical Research Process

SEATTLE — October 19, 2006 — QL2 Software, the leading provider of data extraction and integration tools and solutions, today announces their association with BioIT Alliance, an organization dedicated to increasing medical research efficiency. The BioIT Alliance is composed of an ever growing number of companies, including QL2 Software, working together to solve the technical challenges that meet life sciences companies in data integration, collaboration and knowledge management. The Alliance brings together pharmaceutical, biotech, hardware and software companies to explore and develop new ways to share complex biomedical information and speed the pace of knowledge discovery. QL2 Software's initial involvement will be to collaborate with other Alliance members to share information such as case studies and whitepapers to enhance member knowledge.
