Senior Application Developer

We are seeking Sr. Application Developers in Gurgaon, India. As a Sr. Application Developer, your main responsibility is to continually develop and maintain QL2’s data acquisition solutions. This role ensures data acquisition applications are consistent and comply with company and industry standards with respect to quality and timelines. Required training will be provided to you in order to master your tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develop solutions using WebQL (QL2’s proprietary technology), Selenium & Python to crawl and extract data from multiple web sources.
• Configuring solutions using QL2’s hosted platform.
• Identify the appropriate tools and technologies & work with engineering teams to advance existing applications.
• Work with other divisions to help increase customer satisfaction.
• Create and perform unit tests.
• Communicate effectively with other teams locally and remotely.

FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES

• B.Tech/MCA with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of Web Data Extraction and its associated challenges.
• Previous experience in Web Data Extraction using any technology is a Plus.
• Previous experience in Python is a Plus.
• Good understanding of HTTP.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and any other scripting language.
• Database knowledge and strong SQL skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies, perform competitive analysis, and provide recommendations for implementation.
• Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Proven ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
