Job Audit – Legacy

Data Scout allows you to audit searches. Auditing a search gives you insight into the length of time a search takes
to execute and helps you determine when to schedule the search.

The View action menu displays:

• User actions are taken on a search
• The history of all executions for a search

How to Audit a Job:

1. Select a search.
2. In the View, action menu click the Audit link.

The Audit window contains two tabs, Log and History. Select the Log tab to view actions taken on the search. Actions of note are adding inputs, executing a search, editing a search, etc. The History tab displays the month and day of every search execution organized by year and month. You may see the number of inputs, outputs, errors, runs, and work time for every execution.
